Solo Exhibition - Silted Memories, Part I
May 15, 2025
A dialogue of migration, endurance, and cultural identity
Rivers and land connect people, memory, and history—they carry stories across generations and borders, shaping not only landscapes but our identities. By engaging with this place through drawing and painting, I hope to find a balance between loss, survival, and transformation.

Want to follow along my journey?
I'm currently an undergraduate art student, but I've been making art for as long as I can remember. Now, I'm fully committed and I want to dedicate my time and energy to becoming a professional artist and creating work that make people feel.
I'm inviting you to follow my journey. I'll be sending out biweekly newsletters, starting with a reflection and summary after this show ends. Let's stay connected!
Artist on site
This show is a feature-style exhibition, so there's no formal opening or closing reception. However, I'll be on site on the 29th and 30th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Feel free to come by during that window to chat! If you're visiting at a different time, don't hesitate to reach out — I'll try my best to be there.
Online Demo
I'm currently developing an interactive online experience that dives deeper into this topic—exploring the relationship between human intervention and ecological preservation centered around the Yellow River and the Loess Plateau. It's an evolving, year-long project, so feel free to check back for updates.

This project is also a living research process. Over the summer, I plan to visit waterways across Massachusetts— including rivers, reservoirs, and dams. These site studies will inform new ways to think about how land and water interact, and where we situate ourselves within that relationship.
